Founded twenty-two years ago (1996) by the legendary Phyllis Rockower, the Los Angeles Real Estate Investors Club is the oldest and largest investor club in California. Our mission is very simple; to provide education, networking, and mentoring to real estate investors in Los Angeles County. We meet on the 2nd Thursday of every month in West Los Angeles. We start at 6:30 pm for networking and our unique Vendor Expo (in our exhibition area). Our club meeting starts at 7:30 pm. We present the finest national and international speakers for in-depth real estate education. Learn from our great speakers and network with fellow investors. Our Club is where you meet like-minded investors and real estate professionals who should be part of your "dream team." And for those beginner investors that need special help and assistance to get started, we also offer special affordable Mentoring Programs. Meet the Team
Born and raised in Granada Hills, LaTasha is the power behind the throne. She makes everything run smoothly at the Los Angeles Real Estate Investors Club. At our monthly meetings, LaTasha is the first to arrive and the last to leave. She makes sure everyone gets checked in, that the vendors are set-up, and the featured speaker is ready to go. If you have questions or need help, look for LaTasha. With her smile and endless patience, she is always there to help you. When not engrossed in LAREIC details, LaTasha is busy water skiing and enjoying her daughter's years at UCLA.
Susan is the ultimate “Virtual Assistant.” Susan does everything the rest of at LAREIC refuse to do. If you receive an email, it’s from Susan. If you receive a reminder or flyer, it’s from Susan. If you pay online for a seminar or book, Susan processes it and emails you a receipt. Susan NEVER leaves her Culver City Castle and loves her new nickname, “Agoraphobic Agnes.” When not working on LAREIC business, she is busy watching “Game of Thrones” and “House of Cards.” We love her. You should too!

Jason, our intrepid graphic designer, is the man of the hour. If you see brilliant flyers and posters, and updates to our new website, you can thank our Jason's talents and creativity. Born at UCLA and raised all over Southern California, Jason is a magician when it comes to graphics.
(1939 – 2017)
Phyllis Rockower started in real estate in the 1970’s in New York, buying her first fixer upper in 1979 for 82,000 and selling it 7 years later for 435,000. This got her excited. She bailed out of the Long Island market right before it tanked and moved to Florida, determined to expand her real estate investing. She started out small, buying and fixing a few houses. She then started going to seminars to learn how to expand her real estate investing. The rest is history. She quickly owned 40 rental properties and was well on her way to building a lucrative retirement.
However, as they say, life happens while you are making other plans. She found herself divorced with little money and no credit and her assets sadly diminished. With the knowledge gained from her intense studying program, she moved first to Denver for two years and then to Los Angeles where she has lived and invested ever since. In 1996, Phyllis started a real estate investor’s club which over the past twenty plus years has flourished.
In November of 2017, our beloved founder passed away and will be forever missed.
